It’s crazy how life works. I went into college anxious and skeptical about not knowing who my roommate would be. Would we get along? Or would it be like “The Roommate” movie?? I was assigned to room with a girl from Hawaii. …Hawaii?! WHAT?! My first impression (while I fb creeped) was wow she’s really pretty. And she seems pretty chill…let’s see how this goes.
Right off the bat our similarities were undeniable. Other than our supposed physical resemblance, we don’t like onions, or anything grape artificially flavored, love to dance, act weird beyond other’s comprehension, are both Dominican…well she’s really Black and White but I swear to this day she’s Dominican.
Little did I know, this girl would become my best friend, sister, and other half. We’ve become inseparable. Literally. The rare occasion where we’re NOT together, we get asked where we left “our partner in crime” or “thing 2”. I’ve never had one person that I’ve felt comfortable enough to call my “best friend”…until now.
